Make sure you are prepared for any type of weather this winter! You should check to see how much windshield washer fluid you have every other week to ensure you can see while driving!

Did you know if your air filter is filled with too much debris and allergens it can stop your furnace from running effectively? Replace your furnace filters every 3 months to make sure your home is warm this winter!

  1. Never use cruise control if road conditions are snowy, icy or wet

This is important because if your car hydroplanes, your car will try to accelerate, and you could potentially lose control of your vehicle.

  1. Take Care of Your Driveway and Sidewalk

As a homeowner, you are liable if someone slips and falls on your driveway because of snow or ice. Let’s keep our neighbours and delivery workers safe this winter season by shoveling and salting our driveways and sidewalks.

  1. Test to make sure the shut off valve inside your house turns off!

Did you know if your shut off valve doesn’t work properly it could cause some serious damage? Checking this ever so often will help you avoid a potential clean up and big claim.

Is your car packed and ready in case of an emergency? Essentials such as a flashlight, blanket, and scraper can really make a difference if you are stuck in a unfortunate situation this winter.
